How to Set Up Payment Processing

A quick guide for promoters. Set up Stripe Connect once to receive payments from ticket sales.

Why do I need this?

To receive ticket revenue, we use Stripe to process payments and send your share to your bank account. You must complete this before publishing an event.

What you'll need

Have these ready: business or legal name, bank account (checking or savings), address, and phone. Stripe may ask for business details or ID depending on your situation. Everything is secure and encrypted.

Steps

    Open your Promoter Dashboard

    You'll see a yellow card that says "Complete Stripe Setup" (or you'll be prompted when you try to publish an event).

    Click "Complete Stripe Setup"

    You'll be taken to Stripe to enter your business and bank details. The page is secure and looks like a Stripe form—that's correct.

  3. 3

    Complete the form and return

    After you finish on Stripe, you'll be brought back to Bolet.to. You can then publish events and receive payments from ticket sales.

Stripe is used by millions of businesses. Your bank details are not stored on Bolet.to; Stripe handles payments and is PCI compliant.
