How to Scan Tickets

A quick guide for door staff. Validate fan tickets using the scanner—camera or manual entry.

Where to scan

Open the scanner at bolet.to/scanner (or click "Open Scanner" from your Door Staff Dashboard). Bookmark it on your phone for event day. You must be signed in.

Camera scanning

Tap "Start" to turn on the camera. Point it at the QR code on the fan's ticket (phone or printout). The app will validate the ticket and show a result. Works best on mobile Chrome. If the camera doesn't work on your device, use manual entry below.

Manual entry

If the fan has trouble with the QR, they can find their ticket ID (in their email or on the ticket page). Enter or paste that ID into the manual entry field and tap Validate.

What each result means

After you scan or validate, you'll see one of these:

Valid / Admitted

Ticket is good. Let them in. The ticket is marked as used so it can't be scanned again.

Already scanned

This ticket was already used. Do not admit again—check with your lead if there's a dispute.

Invalid / Cancelled / Refunded

Ticket is not valid for entry. Politely explain and direct them to the promoter or box office if they disagree.

Tips

Keep the scanner tab open and your phone charged. If you're assigned to multiple events, the scanner will use the right event context. If something doesn't work, get the fan's name and ticket ID and your promoter can look it up later.
